WWS & WWA | April 9th - 15th

This past week's grocery sales yielded some great treats, pantry staples, and clearance items. I was especially happy to find real parmesan on clearance, which I froze for later use in sauces, pizza, etc. Sales have also continued for fresh produce like green beans and grapes, so we've been taking advantage, especially since our garden won't start producing until early July.

What We Ate

Planned & Prepped - Did it Go as Planned?

This past week was one of those perfect weeks were we ate everything we prepped - no leftovers except steak and fish from Friday night that we ate for lunch on Sunday. I did realize after the fact that all the dishes were on the "creamy" side, so I guess we had a theme even?

What we Actually Ate:

  • Breakfasts
    • Strawberry Coconut Overnight Oats
    • Granola Bars w/ Peanut Butter
    • Egg Cups w/ Turkey Bacon & Mushrooms
    • Cheese, Cracker, and Cucumber "lunchable"
  • Lunches
    • Chicken, Bacon, & Broccoli Bake (inspired by this recipe)
    • Creamy Chicken Taquitos w/ Blue Corn Chips & Cucumbers
    • Leftover Mac & Cheese w/ Bacon (I made a mac & cheese for my Dad, and kept some for myself)
    • Leftover Creamy Beef & Shells w/ Broccoli
  • Dinners
    • Monday - Creamy Beef & Shells w/ Broccoli
